SPOOKY SEASON HIKE Swamp Monster Trail and more, Tiger Mountain
Details
Let’s repeat this hike.
Let's hike the swamp monster trail of Tiger Mountain. In itself it is a short 1 mile trail, but we can add on the Tradition Lake loop and/or the big tree trail to add some easy mileage.
This is a state park and a Discover Pass is required to park here. As well, several trails originate from this area so parking gets crowded. you may need to park on the road and walk up to the main parking lot and trail head. (there is a trail)
Parking is limited so the guest option will be turned off. You may bring a guest that rides along with you.
Dogs on leash,( no retractable leashes),
Scoop law in effect.
No children under 12 years old.
Please plan on staying with the group for the entire hike.

From I-90, a few miles east of Issaquah, take Exit 20 for High Point and turn south on 270th Ave SE. Just a few yards south of I-90, turn right onto SE 79th St and continue on west. The pavement ends in 0.4 miles, and a gate there is open each day from dawn until dusk. If you arrive earlier, or expect to leave after dusk, you will need to park along either side of the road here and follow the obvious trail half a mile to the parking lot. Otherwise, you are welcome to drive on through, watching for possible potholes, and park in the lot. A Discover Pass is required. A toilet is available, but there is no regular water source.
