What we’re about
My motto in life for 2024 is
“do more of what makes you happy”.
This group is for anyone over 30. Most of the events will happen in northern Gloucestershire and South Worcestershire area. Not restricted to any town or city.
The aim of the group is to make friends, build community, have fun and be happy.
I’m a keen runner so will throw in some fun muddy runs, but pubs, walks, events, activities, weekends away, that kind of thing.
I will try to make it unique from other groups and not clash with similar groups. But unfortunately there will sadly be dates that clash with other groups, it’s unavoidable. I will also add some basic house rules that I will post on discussion forums within the group, just to keep everyone safe.
All that is left for me to say is welcome to the group and look forward to meeting you.
Bellow are some basic house keeping group rules that you agree to by being part of this meet group.
- Members must have a current head shot. Those who become members have 48 hours to update their picture for the group.
- Members must have a given name. Not their hobby, job etc.
- The group has a 3 strike rule within 6 months. A "no show" to an open event is 1 strike. A no show to a numbered event is 2 strikes.
- If a member turns up to an event they did not RSVP they are removed.
- If you haven't been to an event is 6 months you are removed.
- Please do not spam the group, send unsolicited messages to group members, or sexually harass group members. Spammers, senders of unsolicited messages, and harassers will be reported and removed and reported to the police. It is now a criminal offence to send unsolicited images and messages to individuals.
