North leeds Wargaming

North Leeds Wargaming; We're a new group based in the North of Leeds, mainly within the Moortown area. Operating out of a residential community centre. We run painting sessions, play sessions and also organise narrative campaigns for all sorts of games. Warhammer 40K, Horus Heresy, Legions Imperialis, AoS & Old world as well as smaller games such as cooperative wargames and indie skirmish games such as Cohors Cthulu, Silver Bayonet, Pillage and more. We also plan to allow for older editions of these games, such as Epic 40K, 2nd edition 40K.

Not only do we cater to Wargamers but also act as a community space for local hobby groups, should they wish to make use of the private space we use in Moortown &, we are more than happy to allow usage of the space for D&D games as well as run a Fantasy, Roman-based, West Marches campaign should there be interest.

We have a self contained kitchen, adjacent to the play space, and we run food & drink from there: for a reasonable price. So as to fund the expansion of the community & purchase communal gaming assets to be used for the group such as play boards, models, paints & fee's for the play space.

No entry or participation fee is required for most of the events, bar some possible future tournaments. This group is purely for fun & it's purpose is to fill a gap in the tabletop community. To Strengthen local community in the north Leeds area! We will aim to be open on every other Weekend &, weekly: at the start & end of the Week from 12. We can be easily reached from the city centre, by getting the bus (The 7, 7A, 7S, 12, 2, 3, 3A, 36.) northbound to Moortown corner, getting off at the stop outside the M&S and travelling a few minutes walk on the right along Shadwell Ln, turning into High Moor CL. Alternatively if you wish to drive; the hill & Street just outside of the Community centre offers free parking.
