Walk on the Dark Side - Improper City to Riverside Cemetery - Taco del Soul

Let's take a walk from a RiNo Hot Spot along the Platte River trail north to Riverside Cemetery. There, we can peruse the many famous resting places or just head back to RiNo and grab lunch.

Improper City (3201 Walnut St, Denver, CO 80205) sports a huge patio where we can have a drink and eat from food prepared in truck ... it's really much cooler than I just made it sound. :)

Weather should be good but there is an inside, too.

I'll reserve a table or two for our group a day or two before when I know how many we will be.

The walk: We're looking at about an hour each way following the Platte so ... flat! And it's paved so I will pretty much guarantee there won't be mud (you know who I'm talking to!).
After a 2 hours of walking we deserve a treat.

The Improper City website has a video on it so it takes forever to load. It's not you but it may be your connection. Just be patient. Aside from being a bandwidth hog, it's a nice site.

Let's meet in front of Improper City at 10:30 a.m. As usual, we'll wait around for about 10 minutes and head to the trail. There really isn't a good way to get to the trail from there because of railroad tracks so we'll head up Walnut to 38th St. to the trail. We'll take the same way back.
I just wanted to start and end at the same place.

How - There should be plenty of on-street parking in the area. The last I checked, Denver doesn't charge for meter parking on Sunday but you may want to be prepared just in case that has changed.
