Purpose of NRTM:
North River Toastmasters Club is a club where you can improve your communication and leadership skills while meeting new people.
Who should Join:
People who are interested in improving their presentation as well as build confidence as a leader in a fun and supportive environment.
What we do:
In a typical meeting, we have prepared and impromptu speech sections. Prepared speech is based on the curriculum set up by pathways program at TMI. Impromptu speech is from either Table Topics (where speakers are asked to think and answer a question prepared for that day) or from the Debate Session (where speakers are divided into pros and con teams and asked to persuade each other on given a topic).
