Robbers Cave State Park hiking and camping
Details
Originally the hike planned for Sat but moved to Sun due to rain.
Please join us for a camping and hiking trip in the beautiful Robbers Cave State Park.
Regarding hiking plans, at 11 am on Sunday we will meet to hike the Rim Rock trail (about 5 miles, one way, with a short shuttle involved). After the hike, we'd go to explore the Robbers Cave, which is actually more like a cavern but still cool.
Link to the meeting spot at 11 am on Sunday. It is at the Deep Ford Campground.
You can just come to do the day hike and hang out, or stay camping for the Saturday night (alternatively, stay in the nearby town of Wilburton). I reserved the site EN002 for Saturday night. I am happy to share it with one more party and have people come to hang out by the campfire in the evening.
You need to pay a daily parking pass which is $10. Annual pass for state parks for non-residents is $80. Camping starts at $17 per night.9
