Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge

We reserved Electric Site 60 at Doris Campground for Friday and Saturday night. You can book anywhere, but the Christmas dinner and evening gatherings will be in this area. Arrive Friday or Saturday. We will decorate the forest as usual and sport Christmas attire for Saturday evening.

Friday afternoon - set up camp and visit.
Saturday - Day hike in the Refuge
4:30 - 5:00 - Christmas dinner
White Elephant exchange after dinner.
White Elephant gift exchange. Gifts need a camping theme (it's OK to stretch the imagination). $25.00 (+ -). Rules- 3rd owner keeps it. (original person and 2 swaps then dead).

Potluck Dinner. NTO host will provide; Ham, mashed potatoes, rolls, paper plates and utensils.

Bring a side dish -You can bring anything. Below are only suggestions (serving size 4 to 8 people):

black-eyed peas
Fruit salad

Important to know What's OK for this trip. Adult beverages are fine if you know your limits, No young children.
