What we’re about
Welcome to the Toronto 50+ Couples for Friendship Meetup Group! Our group is for mature couples (at least 50 years young) who are married or in a long-term committed relationship, enjoy doing fun activities together and meeting other like-minded couples.
Our events will be primarily in the North York area although we will explore all that the GTA has to offer – dining out, dancing, watching movies or live theatre, walks/hikes, games night, day tripping - the list goes on! Suggestions on other events are always welcomed. So, grab your partner and let’s celebrate life together!
A few things to note:
- This group is for couples so please attend events as a couple.
- A current and clear photo of yourself (headshot) – not obstructed, blurry or shadowed - is required to join this group. This requirement can be met in one of two ways: either you and your significant other have separate meetup profiles with individual photos, or you share a joint meetup profile which includes a profile photo of both of you together.
- If you sign up for an event and your plans change, no worries, just edit your RSVP. After three (3) times of failing to show up when your RSVP indicates you’re attending, you will be removed from the group.
- If you have not visited our meetup site in over three (3) months, you will be removed from the group. We want couples to remain actively involved with our members!
- This is not a business networking group so no business solicitations, no postings promoting or announcing your services on our message board. We’re just here to have fun and socialize.
- This is not a dating site so don’t join our group for any other purpose other than friendship with other established couples.
