What we’re about
Would you like the skills to communicate your feelings and needs with clarity?
Do you have a need to be heard or desire the skill to hear others?
Would you like to live a life free of guilt, shame and regret?
This is where Non-Violent Communication comes into play. Also known as "Compassionate Communication", NVC was developed in the 1960's by Marshall Rosenberg that identifies universal human needs and explores the feelings/emotions that emerge depending on those needs being met or unmet.
This group is aimed at spending two hours practicing the fundamentals together, supporting each other in learning and empathy. We will meet on the first and third Wednesday evening of the month at a home in Atascadero. The address will be given to those who RSVP on the day of the meeting. For those of you who are brand new, we will spend some time going over the basics on the first meeting of the month.
You can get a copy of the book online or at a used book store. Or get a taste for how NVC works by watching the man himself!
Let's connect and practice this valuable skill together!
