About us
This group is for anyone wanting to learn more about the sport of orienteering, getting better with a map and compass, and get off trail and enjoy being in the woods. We also do sprint events (in urban settings) or park events (in local parks), and plenty of training pop-ups where we explore and teach at the same time. If you enjoy trail running or just hiking in the woods, and are up for a challenge of using a map to get there, this group is for you! Join us!

US National Corn Maze Championships
Derthick's Corn Maze, 5182 STATE ROUTE 82, Mantua, OH, USOur Corn Maze event on Friday 9/25 kicks off a very special weekend of orienteering this September, the OUSA Masters Nationals.
In a late-breaking development, the event has also been designated as the 2026 U.S. National Corn Maze Orienteering Championships.
The corn maze event will feature multiple courses through a 16-acre corn maze at Derthick’s family farm in Mantua.
Even though the corn maze challenge is now a championship level event, we are inviting people of all ages and abilities to come out and have fun. There will be family-friendly farm games and activities in addition to the maze.Please mark the date and help spread the word!
