Hello all,
Join us for a gentle, quietly beautiful day exploring some of Mystic’s lesser‑known treasures — the kind of places most visitors never find, and the kind of moments that make you feel connected to nature, place, and each other.

We’ll begin at 10:00 AM at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, meeting in the parking lot. I have a small black Mazda 3. Admission is $10.00 for adults. We'll enjoy the trails, wildlife, and peaceful woodland atmosphere that make this spot such a local favorite.
After our time at the Nature Center, we’ll head out for lunch at a nearby restaurant. Expect something relaxed and away from the downtown crowds.
Our final stop is Enders Island, (Free, no entry fee) a retreat center, Enders Island is a serene and contemplative place surrounded by water. It’s a beautiful contrast to the morning’s forest paths with multiple flower gardens with quiet, restorative, nooks to simply be and enjoy the peace and tranquility. Perfect for wandering, photography, or simply taking in the view. Please use this event to ask questions or to communicate for carpooling.

Gathered around the sizzling hibachi grill, guests are greeted by the rhythmic clatter of spatulas and the aromatic allure of roasting garlic and onions. The chef, with a flash of skill and a dash of humor, transforms fresh ingredients into a culinary spectacle— This place is different, it's like a buffet but you go and pick the raw items you want grilled so it’s individualized just for your tastes. Bring it to the grill and watch the masters do their thing.
Laughter and conversation flow as bowls of fragrant fried rice and tender vegetables circulate, the heat of the grill mirrored by the warmth of good company.
As the meal unfolds, the spirit of adventure fills the air. Between bites, the table comes alive with travel tales—stories of moonlit strolls along cobblestone streets in Europe, vibrant markets in Southeast Asia, and spontaneous road trips across wide-open prairies.
