Make a fun and fidget-friendly flared spinner ring! Create and texture a band and add a free-spinning second ring to create a one-of-a-kind design. Tools and materials will be supplied. Students will be able to choose metal options for each band; bronze, copper & brass are included in the registration fee, sterling silver will be available as well with an extra charge.

Spinner rings are fun to wear and easy to make. Some experience soldering or taking Beth's stacking rings class prior will be helpful, although this class requires no prior knowledge of jewelry making. Just come and experience how much fun it is to make something that you will love to wear. In this workshop, you will learn basic soldering and forming techniques to shape and fit the ring to the size you desire. We’ll also look at various ways of adding texture including hammering, stamping, roller printing, and will add patina as desired for that extra pop of contrast.

Materials and tools will be supplied. Students will be able to choose wire metal type (silver, copper or bronze) for 3 rings, and customize with texture. Just bring your imagination!

If you enjoy the class, we offer other jewelry classes where you will have the opportunity to come back and continue your metalsmithing journey! Ages 13 and up.

Please wear closed-toe shoes. This is close-up detail work, please bring any magnification eyewear you might typically use for such work.
