What we’re about

Greetings! Northern New England Back Roads Motorcycle Rides (NNEBR) is for those seeking safe family friendly motorcycle rides away from the Interstate and riding in a leisurely fashion through the beauty that Northern New England and Canada have to offer. While the focus is on Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Montreal, rides will be organized beyond those regions for both paved and unpaved roads. All makes and models are welcome. If you're happy going 35-55 mph on state and town roads, enjoying the beauty of God's creation, staying sober while enjoying the ride, and can respect the political, philosophical, and religious beliefs of others, this group is for you.

To become a member of NNEBR, you must:
1. Always put safety first and engage in and support safe individual and group riding practices, procedures and instructions as described by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and the Lead Rider at all times;
2. Avoid any alcohol or drug use and impairment during the ride, including impairment resulting from alcohol or drug use prior to the ride;
3. Respect the political, philosophical and religious beliefs of all NNEBR riders, regardless of their alignment with your own, including showing respect and reverence during a pre-ride prayer and all other NNEBR activities;
4. Understand that prior to joining NNEBR you will be required to meet with NNEBR organizer(s) for a friendly prospective group member meet and greet to determine your fitness to be a safe rider and a respectful NNEBR member; and
5. Agree to always be an ambassador of motorcycling by focusing on safety, respect and wholesome fun while understanding that you represent NNEBR and all riders to all others when you are on or around motorcycles.
