Meetup Calendar Limitation

The Meetup Calendar does NOT recognize our meeting pattern of the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. Every other Saturday (which is recognized by Meetup) is not the same thing. We are looking for a work around. In the meantime, we will make sure that the VERY NEXT DATE is CORRECT on the Meetup site. However, the dates of meetings FARTHER in the future are likely to be WRONG.

Summer Rain, Winter Snow:
Check Friday after 3 pm, here on the website, for the final decision on about the meeting!

Our Alternate Summer location:
The GAZEBO, Gardner Field, DENVILLE, N.J. at 2:30 for the summer months. Northwest corner of Gardner Field. There are three picnic tables with benches, and restrooms. Please bring your own water and snacks.

3. To help defray the cost of our meetup subscription fees, all attendees are asked to contribute $3 CASH at the start of the meeting. Helen is our treasurer and happy to assist.
4. Directions to Gardner Field ... Our Outdoor Location During Good, Summer Weather:
   .. It’s next to the Denville Municipal Building.
   .. Here are the GPS Coordinates of our gazebo:

   .. Just copy and paste. Many smartphone and GPS devices will understand them.

   Driving instructions, from Rt. 10:
   .. Go to Route 53 North, Tabor Road.
   .. (The Grato restaurant and Tabor Rd Tavern are landmarks.)
   .. Turn north onto Route 53, toward downtown Denville.
   .. Go underneath Route 80.
   .. Immediately after Route 80, go underneath Route 46.
   ..Route 53 is now East Main Street.
   .. Go 500 ft past Route 46.
   .. Continue to follow East Main Street, bearing left through a complex intersection.
   .. East Main Street now becomes West Main Street.
   .. In about 800 ft West Main Street merges with Route 46.
   .. In about 400 ft, bear right to exit onto Savage Road, passing the Denville Municipal Building on your right.
   .. Gardner Field is next, just after the Denville Municipal Building, and a white, pedestrian bridge on your left.
   .. Go about 1,500 ft (1/4 mile) to the correct Gardner Field entrance on your right. Pass stop sign and blocked entrance. Do NOT enter here.
   .. Pass next entrance at baseball field #3. Do NOT enter here.
   .. The correct entrance is the next one. It’s ACROSS from a Park and Ride lot and a cemetery.
   .. The street sign says, “M&M Holmes Run.” However, it has no name on Google Maps. But it has white parking spots painted on it that show up clearly on Google Maps, Satellite View.
