Wednesday Evening Bike Ride - Hungry Horse area - 6:00PM

Details
Join the Northern Rockies Explorers for a Wednesday evening bike ride on September 3rd. We'll cover about a 20 mile route - riding to the Hungry Horse dam on two separate roads - a "lower" road (Colorado Blvd) and then via Hungry Horse Dam Road. Both roads have light vehicle traffic in the evenings and relatively light climbing will be involved. We'll connect the two roads via a smooth dirt/gravel single track trail which is basically flat.
We'll ride at a moderate pace (12-15 mph) and take a few breaks for sightseeing. Wear something bright and bring your helmet, plenty of water/electrolytes and a spare tube, other cycling repair gear, etc. Bring a bike headlight or headlamp for emergency use. Optional after-ride stop at Tex and Jerry's in HH for a brew.
E-bikers are most welcome.
I don't have the specific stats re: mileage and elevation gain at the moment. If/when I get that I'll post them but we won't be climbing too much.
Recommended: a gravel bike (or something similar) or an E-bike.
A road bike would work as it's a short stretch on the hard-packed dirt trail. A mountain bike is not necessary.
Meet at the Great Bear Cafe in Hungry Horse, across Highway 2 from the Cenex and Huckleberry Patch. Park across from the cafe on Hungry Horse Blvd. See map. We'll see you Wednesday evening!
