Hike To Clayton Lake In Jewel Basin

Let's meet at Woody's Country Store at the corner of Hwy 206 and Hwy 35 at 8:30 am. Anyone in C. Falls, meet on the east side of the C. Falls Super 1 under the pine trees at 8:00 am to carpool to Woody's. On the west side of Woody's is a big parking area where we will meet to carpool to Camp Misery in the Jewel Basin. The hike is 12.5 miles with 1,400 feet of elevation gain. Clayton Lake offers more of a solitary experience than the other lakes in Jewel Basin because of its location at the northern end of the Jewel. Please bring bear spray, bug spray, sunscreen, water, layers and lunch. I hope you can join me!
