Bring your dogs if you have them and we'll hike to the Hungry Horse Dam. This is a nice local out and back trek and we'll get some nice overlooks of the South Fork along the way. Although I've got the elevation listed as 1,500 feet, it is a hilly trek more than a long climb.

They'll be a couple of small creek crossings which are usually not an issue, but I don't know if this time may be different. You might want to wear your most waterproof boots. If anyone wants a shorter outing, you can turn around at any time.

Sunshine is predicted for the afternoon. Bring extra layers and snacks, water, etc. We'll take a break at the dam.

Miles: 10.5
Elevation Gain: approx 1,500 feet

Let's meet at the park and ride lot on the corner of Highway 206 and Route 2. Or feel free to meet at the TH if you know where you're going.
