Our First Ever Ride!

Whether permitting, we will hold our first ever ride on March 22.

We'll meet at the boat launch parking lot at the south end of Long Lake, New Brighton. (Take 694 to the Long Lake Road exit. Turn north on Long Lake Road and take the first right.)

We will be on paved bike paths for the entire ride. We will head north to the end of Long Lake, then turn west to get to East River Road. From there we will ride south to the Fridley Train Station. The ride is about eight miles each way. Most of the ride will be through wooded areas on winding trails, so we will not ride very quickly to ensure safety around the corners. There are a couple of short (less than 100 yards), steep climbs where riders may want to dismount, and other less strenuous up and down sections.

If the weather is bad, we will postpone the ride.
