Let's meet for an evening ride around the old army base and along Lexington Ave. through Lexington and Circle Pines. This will be one of our more leisurely rides (10 to 12 miles an hour) for recreational riders. Come out to enjoy the weather, meet friends, and get some light exercise in.

We'll meet at the Rice Creek Water Trail parking lot and start with the short loop of the army base to the south. Then we'll head north through the Rice Creek North Regional Trail Corridor to Golden Lake. There are several connecting paths along the way, so we can explore at a leisurely pace and cover about 10 to 15 miles.

As always, we'll have saddle bags along to carry extra clothing in case riders aren't sure how many layers to wear and want to bring extra clothes. There are places to eat and drink after the ride in case anyone wants to stick around and socialize.

Call Marti at 651-373-6592 if you have any questions, or if you have suggestions for other routes that we might do.
