Elm Creek Double Header (Part 1)

Our last trip to Elm Creek Regional Park was hampered by the rain and cold temperatures, so we're headed back to the Park for another try. This will be a two part event, but you can sign up for either (or both) parts.

Part 1 will meet at the picnic area by the Elm Creek Park playground (see directions below) at 10:00 for a relaxed ride around the park on the paved trails. The park has 20 miles of trails, so there will be lots to explore. We will ride the loop around the outside of the park, but if you want a shorter route, there are paths through the park to get back to the start. We will regroup at the picnic area at noon for lunch. Bring your own picnic lunch and drinks.

We will relax and socialize for an hour before Part 2 starts, which will be a more energetic ride along the Medicine Lake Trail south of the park. You can sign up for that ride separately.

If you just want to meet us for lunch, that's okay too. The goal is for us to meet and get to know each other.

To get to the picnic area - From Highways 610 and 81 on the south edge of the park, take the Elm Creek Blvd exit and go north to the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the Park Rd. N/James Deane Pkwy into the Park. turn left into the parking area at the first crossroads. I will park as close to the entrance of the parking lot as possible.
