Holiday Extravaganza Walks - Alexandria VA, December

Join us December 2nd or 3rd for our Annual Extravaganza featuring three self-guided walks-- two traditional walks and a Holiday-themed year round event! Trails vary from 5 to 12 km (3 to 7 miles) and are available both days. The Scottish Walk trail in Old Town Alexandria goes within a a block of Saturday’s Scottish parade featuring more than 100 marching units. You will also pass many historic homes beautifully decorated. The DC Holiday Sights trail passes famous landmarks decorated for the holidays including Union Station, the Capitol, the Botanical Gardens, and the Ellipse and National Christmas Tree. The Walk Across the Potomac crosses the Woodrow Wilson Bridge to take advantage of all the Christmas Sights at National Harbor in MD. Any trail is certain to get you in the Holiday spirit! There is no charge to participate in these events, but the fee for IVV walk credit is $3.00. Parking is free (park on left side of hotel). Registration ends at noon. Finish by 4:00 pm.
