Equipment & What to Bring
Provided Equipment

- Low-profile boundary cones
- Clean pinnies/bibs/mesh jerseys
- Professional corner flags
Required Personal Items
- Cleats or turf shoes (playing without shoes is NOT allowed)

Optional Personal Items

Game Rules
Core Guidelines
- Friendly, respectful play expected
- All skill levels welcome
- No aggressive behavior or language
- No slide tackling
- Footwear Requirements: Playing without shoes is NOT allowed
- Safety Considerations: Without turf/firm ground cleats, be mindful of your tackles - players tend to slip and slide with improper footwear
- Safety Enforcement: If safe play cannot be maintained due to footwear, organizer reserves the right to remove the offending player - safety is paramount
Basic Rules
- Penalties enforced
- Obvious offsides called
- Unintentional handball: play continues
- Goalkeeping optional
- Goalkeepers may use hands
Self-Officiated Play & Foul Etiquette
- Call Your Own Fouls: If you know you fouled someone, immediately step back and become a "dead" player for 5 seconds
- Acknowledge Contact: Say "my bad" and/or ask if the player is okay
- Physical Play Expectations: We know it's competitive and physical, and fouls aren't intentional - the small gesture of acknowledgment keeps the game enjoyable for everyone
- Stay Out of Play: During your 5-second "dead" period, do not involve yourself in the ongoing play
Golden Rule
After a shot goes out of bounds:
- Shooting team retrieves the ball, regardless of who touched it last
- For corner kicks, the attacking team (not defenders) must retrieve their shot
- Quick corners allowed with nearby ball but original ball must be collected soon after play resumes
Want Free Games?
Earn credits by helping with equipment setup and breakdown!
How It Works
- 1 Credit: Help set up OR break down one goal
- Free Game: Redeem 2 credits
- Team Effort: Maximum 2 people per goal (must work together)
- Breakdown Verification:
- One person carries goal, other carries all 8 fiberglass poles
- Show organizer the 8 poles for thumbs up confirmation
- Both names recorded for credit
- Credit Tracking: Sue maintains the credit list - ask her about your current balance!
Attendance Policy
- Three no-shows resulting in game cancellation = 30-day RSVP suspension
- Respect everyone's time and commitment
Field Etiquette
- Be good stewards of the space
- Clean up all personal items and trash before leaving
- Help maintain field condition for future games
Safety & Liability
By participating, players:
- Accept responsibility for personal safety
- Acknowledge this is an adult (18+) activity
- Release organizers from liability for injuries/illness
