About us
Bi-weekly gathering on the north shore to play Root (the board game). A few notes:

Ya gotta have some games under your belt / in advance. Root is not nuclear science, but it does have a lot of rules and cannot be played on the fly. The iOS / android game is fantastic for learning!

Base game only (for now). We pick factions randomly at each game, so you need to know how to play at least the four core factions: Marquise de Cat, Eyrie Dynasties, Woodland Alliance, and Vagabond.

This group is just to play Root. That’s um…sort of it. A bit of competitiveness and fellowship are great, but it’s best if you truly enjoy this amazing game for what it is and regardless of outcome.
We play on the north shore and typically in bars or cafes and hoping also to do some summer lakeshore games. Will try to pick convenient venues for transit.
