Battle Solitaire??? What you talking about, Jose???

Yup, its a thing AND its a lot of fun! If you've played solitaire before, then you are halfway there. Its a speed version of solitaire and you are racing others at the table to clear your personal stack of 10 cards (called blitz or lunch pile) before they do.

The original version is called Dutch Blitz and you can see the rules here:

The Chicago-themed version is called Chicago Shuffle. Plays the same but with a Chicago vibe:

Come join us on National Solitaire Day (yes, that's also a thing - Friday, May 22nd) for some great food, tasty drinks, and community-solitaire-fun! Competition will start around 6pm; come early if you want some help with the rules/practice rounds/etc.

Entrance Fee: Your standard Stay and Play Game Cafe Game Pass + $1 (yes, one dollar).

Prizes awarded to first place and second place winners.

Registration through Meetup is required. If adding guests, please provide their First name(s) for table assignment purposes.
