1.⁠ ⁠Respect
Be kind, respectful, and honour personal boundaries.
No hate speech, bullying, discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour (in messages or at events). Meetup isn’t a dating site—keep interactions respectful.

2.⁠ ⁠Accurate RSVPs
Keep your attendance updated. 2 no-shows = removal. 2 last-minute cancellations (within 72 hours of a booked event) = removal. If you can’t attend, update your RSVP or message us. Only RSVP “yes” if you’re sure.

3.⁠ ⁠Members Only
No guests unless stated. Do not bring non-members, pending applicants, banned, or previously removed individuals.

4.⁠ ⁠Clear Profile
You must have: a clear, recognisable photo, a real first name or everyday nickname. This is for group safety and identification.

5.⁠ ⁠Inactivity
Members who attend no events since joining may be removed to keep the group active and genuine. We review this periodically, every 6-12 months on average.

Definitions

No-show: Marked as attending but do not turn up and don’t update your RSVP (or change it within 30 minutes of the event).
Last-minute cancellation: Changing your RSVP within 72 hours of a booked event.
Booked event: An event with a reservation (restaurant, café, activity booking, etc.).
