About us
This group is for anyone in Norwich who is interested in Artificial General Intelligence and wants to connect with others who share the same passion. Whether you are a student, researcher, developer, entrepreneur, or simply curious about where AI is heading, you are welcome.
The aim is to build a community where we can discuss ideas, explore new research, share projects, and have thoughtful conversations about the future of AGI. Expect talks, demonstrations, workshops, technical discussions, and plenty of opportunities to meet others working in or around the field.
A little about me, because this is not a typical meetup. I have spent much of my career building advanced AI and autonomous systems, including founding a driverless vehicle company, developing patented AI technologies, and creating AI systems used in demanding real world environments for use at a state level. Rather than meeting in a hired conference room every month, we'll occasionally host sessions at my own site, where members will be able to see and discuss some genuinely unusual AI systems unlike anything seen on the market, visit our underground robotics on and AI laboratories, and get hands on with technology that is not normally open to the public.
This is not about hype or exclusivity. It is about letting people who are serious about AGI can have conversations and experiences that are difficult to find anywhere else.
Whether you're taking your first steps into AI or already working at the cutting edge, you'll find people here who enjoy asking difficult questions, challenging assumptions, and exploring what comes next.
