With fourteen albums to his credit, Dave Gunning is a luminary in Canadian folk music. His journey, deeply inspired by legends like Stan Rogers and Gordon Lightfoot, showcases his talent for blending melodic sincerity with compelling storytelling. Gunning's music often highlights underdogs and tackles significant social and environmental issues, earning him widespread acclaim.
Over his career, Gunning has received ten East Coast Music Awards, two Canadian Folk Music Awards, four Music Nova Scotia Awards, and a Juno Award nomination. His ability to blend humor with poignancy makes his performances unforgettable, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere for his audience.
