Casual Rounders 16th May, 2pm, 2026
Details
Greetings people! Come for some casual social rounders with us in West Bridgford at 6.30pm on Saturday the 23th of May 2026. Meet in the main car park as shown on the map (directly behind coffe 200). No experience or sporting prowess neccessary, we use an over-sized bat and a larger plastic ball to aid bat-to-ball interaction, also, the rules are simple and will be explained on the day... all very relaxed (untill someone hits a home run- obnoxious celebrations and ample high-fiving is encouraged) 😆
Equipment provided, though please wear trainers or footwear suitable to PE style exercise.
Drinks afterward in a venue within walking distance from the car park.
Event fee will be the standard £1 to fund the groups profile. It's certainly worth brining water/snack and a coat/jumper/waterproof- just incase.
If you happen to be suffering from a long or short term injury, please consider attending carefully as everyone joins at their own risk and some running, bending, turning and twisting is required.
Meetup charge organisers to run these groups, and therefore, Please bring £10 for a year's membership to the group or £1 if you attend occassionally, on the walk or pay as a friend payment via PayPa
