Car/Bus Event: Croquet at West Park Leisure Centre, Long Eaton

What we will do: Start time 10.30am. but arrive a little earlier to select your mallet. A change from a mid-week ramble and much enjoyed in previous years. There will be a £5 charge (in cash) per person to cover the lawn, tuition and equipment payable on the day. Please wear flat shoes or trainers – not heavy walking boots or high heels. Women please wear shorts, or trousers – not skirts or dresses. An optional Fish/Pie ’n Chips lunch at nearby George's restaurant. Non-players are invited to join us for lunch. Please advise the organiser in advance.

Directions by bus: Indigo service from Friar Lane, stand 4, to Long Eaton, alight Granville Avenue and walk half a mile down the road on the left. Buses every 10 mins, journey time about 30-40 mins.
