What we’re about
This group is open to all ages and aims to organise a variety of events that appeal to a wide range of interests. If you live in or near Nottingham and want to meet new friends and have some fun days and nights out then do join us. I can promise you will meet some great people, make new friends and enjoy yourself.
We have strong links with Nottingham Gig Buddies and Nottingham Culture & Café Scientifique, with whom we share many members; so why not join as many as you like and have a packed social calendar!
Check out our Frequently Asked Questions for new members page here for more details of how to join, and we look forward to seeing you at an event soon!
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- £2 (ish!) Canalhouse Comedy NightNeeds location
This popular night has been running fortnightly for 14 years and is a great chance to see a mixture of up-and-coming and established acts at a price that won't break the bank. Everyone is friendly and has a good time but it's perfect for new Meetuppers, as it's relaxed and fun without the pressure of having to make small talk all evening. Come on down for your comedy fix!
Website/tickets (£2.00 + 0.20 booking fee)
We'll meet to the left of the downstairs bar as you enter, either standing up or seated, then head upstairs shortly before showtime. Several rows of seats are usually reserved for Meetuppers to sit together.
If you've any questions, just ask in the comments or send me a message – but only after you've thoroughly read the description!
It's best to buy a ticket in advance; online sales stop at 19:00 on the night. Even if it sells out, you should be ok for paying on the door but may have to stand at the back end of the room.
This event is cross-posted in a few groups; just join one of them, ta.
Lastly, please don't sign up unless you're sure you're coming and if for some reason you can't make it, please update your RSVP to Not Going.
