Meet around 10:50 for 11:00 Start
A mostly flat walk with a couple of Stiles.
Heading down the road and across fields to Cossington Meadows.
NOTE: A few stingers on the first few paths: Shorts not advised
We follow the River Soar to Sileby lock before turning into the village.
Then take a 30-minute break at The Free Trade Inn.
Heading back into Cossington Meadows through some woodland before following the River Wreake and canal back to the starting point.

PARKING - At the time of research, the pay-and-display meter was still broken, so parking was technically free.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT CARPARK AT JOHN MERRICKS LAKE
It’s next to the lake and has the Leicestershire and Rutland Youth Sailing Association next to it.
