Welcome to NOVA Black Women Childfree By Choice. This group is for black women in the Northern Virginia area who have chosen not to have children and are looking to create friendships with like-minded individuals. Maintaining and creating friendships can be tricky as we get older, and our lives take us in different directions. And for those of us who opt to be childfree, it can be especially challenging trying to both navigate and coordinate our interests and schedules with those in our social circles who may not have the freedom and flexibility that our lifestyle provides.
This group is for us. Let's get together to share our interests, make memories, offer support, and build a community of strong, independent women who are living life to the fullest. Join us for meetups, discussions, and events that cater to our perspectives and unique interests such as (but not limited to):

No form of harassment or bullying will be tolerated, and are grounds for immediate removal.
All members should have a Meetup profile picture showing their face. This helps organizers and attendees find you at events.
