About us

Hey! I'm starting a group for driven professionals who are trying to become the best versions of themselves in all aspects of their lives from social/emotional intelligence, being a better spouse/partner, challenging yourself physically on top of ambitious financial/career milestones.

You're probably the kind of person who spends Sunday mornings thinking about what your purpose is, or what kind of legacy you want to leave. You've signed up for seminars, online courses, or weekend workshops on figuring out who you are, starting a business, or showing up better in your relationships and for your family. Your notes app is full of quotes and goals, have so many ideas that your desk is cluttered with post it notes or pages from your journal and you've redesigned your morning routine more times than you'd admit. You're always building something, whether that's a career, a business, a family, a healthier body, or just a better you.

You've read Atomic Habits, Daring Greatly, or The Let Them Theory, or they're on your list. You've got The Relationship Cure, Atlas of the Heart, The Psychology of Money, Essentialism, or The Courage to Be Disliked sitting on your nightstand. Your commute is The Mel Robbins Podcast, Leila Hormozi, Diary of a CEO, Esther Perel, or Huberman Lab, probably at 1.5x speed. You're the friend people come to for advice, and the one who sends podcast episodes to the group chat that nobody listens to. And most importantly, you actually try the stuff you learn instead of just nodding along.

If that's you, you probably also know the other side of it. Being ambitious can be really tough and lonely. It's hard to turn your brain off, work has a way of consuming everything else (your health, your relationships, your weekends), and a lot of people around you don't really get why you try so hard. It feels like a daily chore to make sure to set boundaries between all aspects of life. People label you as a workaholic, type-A or even OCPD and it feels confusing deciphering whether you should be working to live or living to work. And it's surprisingly hard to find friends who want to talk about this stuff without overwhelming them or for it to turn into transactional professional networking.

The goal for this group is to foster a diverse local community of high-integrity people with shared values that can come together on a regular cadence. I'm open to any ideas but I was thinking of a weekly meetup where we grab coffee and talk about a podcast episode or article (low effort so even if you didn't get to it, you can still just come). Maybe this could eventually evolve into a monthly book club or other social activities like hikes, game nights, camping, etc based on what the groups interests and needs are.

Mostly this is about meeting genuine and authentic people who want to grow together. Request to join and I'll reach out to say hi!
