Carrie Hane is the founder and principal strategist of Tanzen, which provides content strategy consulting and training designed to change how organizations approach content. She is also a Senior Content Strategist at ICF, helping digital and content teams approach content more strategically. For nearly 20 years, she's alternated between in-house web content lead and consulting, putting together cross-functional teams and creating processes that stick while untangling information to make it usable and ready for the next frontier. She is the co-author of Designing Connected Content: Plan and Model Digital Products for Today and Tomorrow (New Riders, 2018). When not taming content, Carrie tries to tame her two boys. ICF has enhanced security, so we may be asked to check ids and have you sign a waiver for alcohol.

Enter the building through the front entrance as the event will be after hours and no other doors will be open. We will have signs directing everyone to the elevators. The ID check and sign in will happen when you enter the conference room area.

PARKING
The main parking garage will be open for entrance until 7pm, and is located in front of the main entrance.

There is also a visitor’s parking lot that is open 24/7 but only has 50 spots; it is located to the side of the main parking lot.

METRO
ICF is Metro accessible and is located within walking distance of the Vienna Metro station—the last stop in Virginia on the Orange Line. A free shuttle service is available from the Metro for visitors. Round-trip shuttle service runs every 10–15 minutes until 7:55 p.m. Head to the “kiss and ride” area on the south side of the station and look for the shuttle van with the International Limousine and Hunter’s Branch logo on the sides. The walk from the metro is just over a mile.
