ABOUT THIS EVENT
We’ve all been there before, design by committee. When “design” is owned, distributed, and maintained organization-wide, across a number of similar or disparate business units or departments. When there isn't a single source for approvals, how do you ensure that your digital products match the essence of your foundational brand elements? In this discussion we’ll explore ways around how we can use our skills to engage and establish symbiotic design tokens, starting with Brand Guidelines and being maintained in our Digital Design System. In this talk, we’ll expose common friction points and opportunity for increased collaboration across internal Brand, Marketing, UX, and Product departments. While anyone can be an evangelist for an improved user experience, the same could be said for Brand Ambassadorship and, more importantly, design consistency across physical and digital touchpoints.
