About us

NoVa AI Connect is a monthly, in-person meetup for Northern Virginia business owners who want to actually use AI — not just read about it.

Most AI events are built for developers. This one is built for owners and operators: people running a business who know AI matters but don't have time for hype, jargon, or a coding bootcamp.

Every month we take one real problem — submitted by owners in this group when they register — and build a working version of the fix live on screen, usually in about twenty minutes. No theory slides, no vendor pitch, no code. You watch it get made, and you leave able to rebuild it yourself.

Where we meet

Woodbridge — first Wednesday of every month
Alexandria — third Wednesday of every month, starting October

How a session runs (90 minutes)
30 minutes of open networking · a 30-minute live build and Q&A · 30 minutes of structured networking, where you trade your biggest AI problem with other owners.

Who this is for
Anyone running a small or mid-sized business who wants clarity on what to automate first, what to ignore, and how to tell whether it actually worked. Never used any of these tools? That's exactly who this is built for — zero technical background needed.

Free to attend. Bring a real problem.

Hosted by Bryan Wakefield — a fractional CFO who moved into AI consulting, and the publisher of GoPWCVA.

Most AI events are built for developers. This one is built for you: the Northern Virginia business owner who knows AI matters but doesn't have time for hype or a coding bootcamp.

AI for Business is a free monthly meetup at Brickyard Cowork in Woodbridge, where non-technical business owners meet to discuss and learn about AI.

Every month you'll learn specific tactics that non-technical business owners can use to implement AI in their business to save time, make more money, or increase the quality of their product or service.

This month: learn how to use Claude Cowork inside your small business.

Bryan Wakefield (a fractional CFO and the publisher of GoPWCVA, Prince William County's weekly newsletter) will demo Claude Cowork in action and show exactly how the average small business owner can use it inside their business.

Who this is for: anyone interested in implementing AI into their small business to save time, make money, or increase the quality of their product or service. Zero technical background needed — if you've never used any of these tools, that's exactly who this is built for.
