In this talk, parents of neurodiverse high school students will learn to prepare their teens
for college by understanding the social, emotional, academic, and self-advocacy skills
necessary for a successful campus experience.
Dr. Andrea Malkin Brenner draws on 25 years as a college
professor and university administrator in her work as a college
transition educator.
She is an expert on the common pitfalls students face when they
begin life on campus without the scaffolding
of home, with a special focus on students with learning
challenges.
Andrea is co-author of How to College: What to Know Before
You Go and founder/creator of the Talking College card decks
