Two years have passed since the events that no one wants to think about. Everyone has tried to move on, but there’s something about this place that prevents it. The residents continue to grapple with life’s big questions: What is a family? What is a community? And what, if anything, are we willing to sacrifice in order to protect them?

As the locals of Beartown struggle to overcome the past, great change is on the horizon. Someone is coming home after a long time away. Someone will be laid to rest. Someone will fall in love, someone will try to fix their marriage, and someone will do anything to save their children. Someone will submit to hate, someone will fight, and someone will grab a gun and walk towards the ice rink.

So what are the residents of Beartown willing to sacrifice for their home?

A $3.00 fee is required to assist the organizer with costs related to A Novel Bunch.

Nominations
We have chosen books through the month of August, and it is once again time to nominate. We’ll vote at August's book club discussion for the next Six months of books.
For the new folk in the group, here’s how things work. Members nominate a book by including the title, author, and brief synopsis of the book. Please include your name so we know who nominated what books. I compile the nominations, bring ballots, and those who attend the discussion are invited to vote. For this next vote, we’ll be deciding what to read in September, October, November, December, January, and February.
You can nominate whatever novel suits you. It can be something you’ve read or something new. All are invited to nominate. Please try to limit your nominations to 3 books per person.
