We're planning to read across all genres and have thoughtful conversations with like-minded book lovers over meals at local restaurants. Novels & Nibbles Book Club - April 2026 (2 of 2)
Join us on Thursday, April 30th at 7:15 PM at Milton's Cocktails & Cuisine in Milton, GA (just a few miles north of Alpharetta) as we wrap up The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett and discuss the book as a whole.
First, thank you to everyone who came out to the last meeting!
This month's book starts with twin sisters who grow up in a small Southern town, then make very different choices about the lives they want to live and who they want to be. From there, the story begins to widen in a way that’s less about plot twists and more about identity, perception, and the ripple effects of decisions that don’t stay contained to one person.
With us finishing the book and getting the full picture, I am sure that there will be a lot more to dig into regarding identity, race, and the lives we choose to live. I hope to see everyone who came previously as well as potential new faces and get a variety of perspectives.
