Susan shares the history, motivation, and process involved in making her art. Focusing on nature and on native and endangered plants, Harrington draws thoughtful parallels to contemporary life and environmental instability. “Resilience Is Our Nature” proposes that endurance is not a rare heroic act, but an intrinsic capacity. Nature teaches us that survival is creative, adaptation is generative, and hope is not naïve—it is evolutionary.
