Description:
Grassy Knoll is a 3648 ft bald that is covered in wildflowers in June, such as balsamroot, lupine, paintbrush, lilies and penstemons. A variety of flowers also bloom in the forested area, such as star-flowered smilacina and larkspur.
There are also some amazing views along the clifftops. The trail is steep in parts. It is 4.4 miles round trip and climbs 1000 ft. If time allows, we can hike past the Knoll to see more flowers and views.
