Last Chance to Hike at Oxbow Park in 2026

Come join us for a beautiful early fall hike along the Sandy river before Oxbow Park closes for the rest of 2026 for some sorely needed repairs. We will hike a few of the more remote river trails, such as J, K?, L, M, N and O, and see what we discover along the way. Make sure you have your iNaturalist app loaded for our NPSOPDX26 Fall, Fruits, Seeds and Nuts Blitz, before you come. There is NO reliable cell service at the park. You will find us at Lower Hosner right along the river. Look for NPSO sign and bandana. We will migrate to the campground from there.
The good news is that there is only one rmain road in and out. Please watch the speed limit.
There is a parking fee of 5.00 so we may try and carpool from the Columbia River Outlet Stores. Please note if you want to do so.
