Hey everyone, welcome to the NRI Returnees & Visitors Social Club!

I'm starting this group because I recently moved back to India after living abroad. I realized there must be others out there in the exact same boat—or visiting from overseas—who want more of that globally-minded community vibe.

So, if you’re a returned NRI, an expat, or just visiting and want to hang out with people who understand what it’s like to live between two worlds, you’ve found your crowd!

What’s the plan?
I’m keeping things completely casual, low-pressure, and entirely social. This isn’t a place for business networking, selling services, or professional pitches—it’s just a space to make genuine friends.

• ☕ Day-to-day: I’ll be setting up weekend brunches, casual coffee meetups, and dinner/drinks to just sit, chat, and share stories.
• 🎯 Down the road: Once a few of us connect, we can definitely branch out into fun activities and exploring the city, or whatever else everyone is in the mood for.

A couple of quick asks from me:
Because I'm hosting these events and want to make sure it's a safe, comfortable environment for all of us, I just ask two simple things:

1. Please use a real profile photo and your real name so I know who to look out for at the cafe or restaurant!
2. Keep it social. Let's leave the corporate networking at the office.
