AFTERNOON TALK@HUMANIST HOUSE: Speaker John August, Foreign Policy

As a result of scheduling issues, this is a talk in more conventional
format, with John August giving a talk on his perspectives on Foreign
Policy, Australia, and the World.

John is a Vice-President of the NSW Humanists, and is also involved in the Pirate branch of the Fusion Party Australia. It means he has engaged with many of the details of foreign policy.

John will take a look at how we relate to foreign nations, both locally and also the distant conflicts we have become involved with, including the Middle East. He'll also take a look at the hypocricy which seems innate to the way we deal with foreign nations, being unduly influenced by our relationship with the US and our own corporate interests.

This will be an approx. 40 minute talk without slides.
