Come swelter with us at the 1st Los Angeles Meshtastic Meetup at Null Space Labs!

This is an informal meetup organized by Kody from Null Space Labs for Meshtastic enthusiasts, beginners, and those involved in SoCal Mesh.

Whether you run a meshtastic node, want to get started, or just want to see what the community is working on, come check out LA's local hackerspace and learn about Meshtastic projects!

The event doesn't require any technical experience, and you can bring your own node and laptop or just come to learn. We'll be covering:

  1. Meshtastic software basics, setup and settings
  2. Standard Meshtastic hardware and options (including antennas)
  3. Custom cat-shaped Meshtastic hardware projects in LA
  4. Programmatic control and setup of Meshtastic with Python
  5. Adding sensors (temperature sensors, radar human presence detection sensors)
  6. SoCal Mesh Net project - Learn about the real world Meshtastic network in SoCal

****This event is free to attend!****

If you would like to support Null Space Labs, a donation of $25 will get you a Meshtastic remote sensor upgrade kit containing:

  1. a BME280 Temperature, Humidity, and Barometric Pressure Sensor
  2. a 4dBi 915M Embedded Antenna
