This group generally meets in the North and West Valley. If you're looking for a group that meets in the other parts of the Phoenix Valley, please check out Humanist Society of Greater Phoenix (HSGP).

Please consider joining the American Humanist Association. Memberships start at one dollar (yes, $1) per year, and you get access to publications.

The reasons for starting this local group are:

  1. To promote progressive society in the Northwest Valley where being good without a god is an accepted and respected way to live life in Arizona. We strive to maintain an inclusive community of like-minded individuals from all walks of life and age groups
  2. To provide Humanist events in the North and West sides of Greater Phoenix
  3. To provide a Humanist presence in interfaith activities when those events are based on shared values

Our Beliefs
Humanism is a progressive philosophy of life that, without theism or other supernatural beliefs, affirms our ability and responsibility to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good. Click here for more information.
