BROWNSTONE EXPLORATION & DISCOVERY PARK
This outdoor adventure sports park has rock climbing, wakeboarding, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, cliff jumping, scuba diving, "Survivor" type obstacle courses, zip lines and hiking and biking trails. Brownstone is a single destination for all ages or groups of any size. Everyone will have the unique opportunity to explore the quarry's 100-foot freshwater depths, traverse its 85-foot solid brownstone walls, navigate the waters smooth surface, or develop the ultimate team by taking on all the sports in the advanced challenge courses. Full concessions or bring a picnic. Free parking.

*Equipment and watercraft rentals (kayaks, paddle boards, water bikes) are not included except where mentioned, you may bring your own. (Rental prices) Brownstone Park is providing harnesses and helmets for climbers – or bring your own. Complimentary life jackets are available.
General Information
Review the full list of Park Rules, but here are the basics.
* Everyone must register at the main gate and complete the liability release waiver.
* All swimmers must wear a life jacket or a wetsuit that provides positive buoyancy.
* Complimentary life jackets are available for all guests – no rental fee for life jackets.
* Scuba divers not accompanied by an instructor must present a valid certification card from a recognized agency to dive and you must have a dive partner
Depart Date: Shown above. Please arrive 15 minutes earlier. Van will depart sharply on time with or without you.
Depart 7:15 AM from Queens (NEW): (Northeast Corner of 39th Ave & College Point Blvd) 133-03 39th Ave, Flushing, NY 11354 (Map). Subway lines (Main St-Flushing): 7. (1/2 block from Asian Jewels)
Depart 8:00 AM from NYC: (Starbucks: Southwest Corner of 43rd St and 9th Ave) 593 9th Ave, New York, NY 10036 (Map) Subway lines (Times Sq-42 St): A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q, R, S.
Return: Depart around 6:15 PM after & expect to be back in Midtown NYC at 9:00 PM & Queens 9:45 PM
COST
Early birds: $55 for first 7 spots or 7 days in advance whichever comes first; Regular: Afterward, $65 for the remaining spots. $5 tip to the van driver is required & will be collected on the return trip.
Trip includes: Round trip transportation from NYC area & toll fees if any.

REFUND POLICY
* Full refund minus $20 processing fee if cancelled 7 days in advance * 50% refund if cancelled 4 days in advance * Afterward, no refund for cancellation or no show; however, you can transfer your spot to other with $20 transfer fee; * Full refund if the trip has to be cancelled by us.

THE WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY
In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in NY Ski & Snowboard Club events and activities, the event participant acknowledges, and agrees that:
- The risk of injury from the events may be significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and,
- KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
- Willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation; and,
- Event participant, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS NY Ski & Snowboard Club their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event, WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
