Well, I thought my post was helpful. I guess I made an innocent mistake. *thanks* for your interesting response.

Liza, I think the issue here has been, that although your post may seem decent or harmless, the majority of folks do not subscribe to this thread for these sorts of opportunities. This is more the entrepreneur's and freelancer's mix. But even then, there is a history here of tons of abusive posters looking to post "questionable" jobs that have long resulted in unfair deals for the folks who took the chance.

For the record, spam is *any* piece of unsolicited mail. The only thing (and I can stand to be corrected on this) that is solicited here is opinion, industry perspective and the occasional debate to be settled.

Just because a human hit the send button, and its not related to pharma, dating, or other naughtier things -- does not mean its not spam. Greet someone who doesn't wish to speak to you more than twice and you are spam. :)

Good luck filling the spot. My recommendation is that instead ask for a referral to a good Cisco engineer who knows the Cisco collaboration platform. That'll get you further I believe.

Alex

Liza, this is the 2nd day in a row you’re blasted this list with just a job description.  As we’ve recently been discussing how this list is best served, posting jobs here has always been a debatable topic.  Some people think it’s fine to see jobs posted here, others think it’s spam.  Regardless, there is a more appropriate place to post your jobs for the NY Tech Meetup List:
