Re: [newtech-1] Request for feedback on my iOS app

Great start. Hope you're getting a lot of downloads/installs and comments :). I know how tough it is to get an app through to the store so congratulations on that.

My pet peeves with the app:

1. Autocomplete - I think you've implemented some sort of a timeout after the user stop typing before trying to populate the list of names. That delay is a little disconcerting IMHO.
2. The autocomplete dropdown blinks to white at least once.
3. Use NavigationViewController - looks like you've implemented Back buttons across the app. I'd suggest implementing the same flow using a default control like the NavViewController.
4. "Find Them" label - If I have a couple of of medications entered in the app and try to search Side Effects by Symptom, I'm asked to enter symptoms and then "Find Them." (a) the label sounds too colloquial and informal (b) maybe you could think about presenting a multi select table with the list of medications instead of "Find Them."
5. Editing medication list - tapping on the white box next to the medication pops up a menu with "Delete, get side effects and cancel." I am forced to tap "cancel" to close this window. I'd rather be able to tap outside the menu to cancel.
6. Back to "Find Them" - On second thoughts, I'm not sure what that button is supposed to do in that screen.

Please take a moment to download and try my just-released app called SideEffects,  Thanks.
