+1 ... Sadly, I think your email is a wasted one:

This same company has spammed many, many lists via multiple user accounts.

Just check this Google query... or you can try the query yourself:
site: "The opportunities for iPhone applications developers has never been better."

A few weeks ago, Brandon Diamond (who sits on the NYTM board) banned a user who posted this exact message on the NYHacker Meetup Group list.

But no one on the board seems to read or care about this (NYTM) mailing list. If anyone has personal contact with them, maybe you can refer them to this thread to see if we can get some action.

Or better yet, if someone has contacts at Meetup that can come up with a top-down solution, even better. If you check the Google query above, they've been doing it repeatedly under various profiles to many groups.
Clicking the "report for spam" link on the user's profile is just playing a futile whack-a-mole game.

Cutting and posting promotional material to the list is frowned upon when it's clearly marketing with no context. Please refrain from doing this again. It's abusive to the list members.

I understand their may be some who derive some value from this, but if it sounds too good to be true, then it is. That sentence about their fees being half the price but their training being better - that's a piss poor sales tactic that has outlived its usefulness.

Read the Blog Posting about the iPhone Boot Camp Experience

The opportunities for iPhone applications developers has never been better. Apple has paid out over 5 billion dollars to developers with App in the iPhone app store. iPhone developers' work-for-hire is the highest paid in the software industry.

The iPhone Boot Camps are arguably the most affordable and experienced iPhone application development workshops. Our rates are often half the price of other workshops and our trainers the most experienced in the field, with apps in the top ten in the iPhone store and/or authors of popular books on iPhone development. Since 2008 we have trained over 1,000 developers in over 60 small workshops.

Money Back Guarantee

We are the only iPhone workshop that offers a money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the workshop after the first day we offer a full refund, no questions asked. Keep in mind that any developers considering the workshop should have a basic knowledge of object oriented programming or the workshop will be extremely challenging.
